Ok, so I literally forgot that I had a blog!

Yeah, so I was going through my C'ville file updating some stuff and I noticed that there was a link to here lol.
So, what have I been up to for the last year or so......
Well, school still sucks a bit and I can't wait for it to be over, only a few more months and that will be true ( I hope). I have had to switch jobs, well, places of employment really. Downey's Rental Department was bought out by Discount Car and Truck Rentals, and I was part of the deal. They have been treating me pretty well, I guess. I'm not a big fan of the office politics, most people in the office (all 7 of us) can't stand at least one other person in the office.
On October 30th I was in a car accident, nothing major, but I was out of work for about 3 weeks. It was really painful, but I have recovered, and I still haven't gone to physio yet which is a huge mistake, but I will eventually.
Daniel has moved to Riverview. He seems to like it up there, I love going up there on my weekends off. It's nice to get away from this city once and a while. The drive up and back alone in the dark kinda sucks, but it gives you a lot of time to think :) (this could also be very very dangerous lol ). We have such a great time together, I have no idea how I got so lucky to have met him :) Aww, I know, how sappy.
Well, better get going... I have a test in Abnormal Psych in the morning and another chapter to review. I will try and post more often, I swear!!!

ok, so I am going to post some pics of the projects that I have been working on. I only have a few on the web right now, but I will get more online later this week (once I go home for more than a few hours lol).

(the black one) This is the shawl that I made for my neighbor, Carolyn. It's just basic double crochet with some fringe. Thats my baby sister holding it up,she did NOT want to be in the picture lol.

(the multicolored one) I made this shawl for myself. I used Bernat Satin in Bermuda, it's a very bright and colorful shawl. My only problem is finding something to wear it with. It's not warm enough here (In Southern NB, Canada) to wear it with a t-shirt or tank top, so I guess I will just wait until the summer.

So, I bought the "S'nB: The Happy Hooker" yesterday...out of 39 patterns, I have 17-20 marked off with post-it notes. I hope spring session and summer session aren't too stressful so that I can get this stuff done. I want to make some stuff to wear to the weddings that I am going to this summer. I am too cheap to go buy new outfits (both couples are from the same group of friends, so you kinda have to switch it up a bit), so I am making the gorgeous cardi on page 216 for the second wedding (it's at night) and a shawl to wear to the first one. I'm working on the shawl now, I'm using RH Soft Baby in white, it's the delta/flower stitch. I wanted it to look like the Newlywed's shawl, but the stitches are too small so it doesn't look the same. THe second one I am making is in size 10 thread (white and pearl), I don't know if this one will ever be done! LOL. Well, anyways, I better go and study...or something. Cyas!

it's been a little bit lol

Well, I kinda forgot what my username was, thats why I haven't posted in a bit.
Anywho! I haven't had a chance to finish any projects lately because of school. Woo hoo! Only 2 weeks before exams! Daniel is going to Gander, NFLD the week after next for a couple of weeks, which works out great becuase he is gone while I am writing exams. Now I won't feel bad for not spending time with him.
After I am doing working on this homework assignment, I am going to work on a few little projects to keep my entertained while I vegg out today, it's going to be great!

wow, I'm blogging!

Well, this is my first blog! I'm setting this up mainly so that I can show-off my crochet stuff to friends and family. It is going to be so much easier to just send them a link now, not having to figure out how I am going tot get pictures to them lol. When I get home ( whenever that will be!) I will post the pics of my latest FO (finished object), Carolyn's shawl. Back to work (I love that I can crochet at work!)
